Our furry friends, whether dogs or cats, make our days complete. They’re there for us when we’re down, greet us when we come home, and always know how to keep things interesting! If you’re interested in adopting a pet, there are plenty of animal shelters in Waldorf! Check out some of these local shelters before getting a new pet and give one lucky dog or cat their forever home.

Why Adopt a Pet?

Did you know that about 6.3 million companion animals enter shelters each year? While roughly 4.1 shelter animals are adopted yearly, we can certainly improve that number. Rather than going to a breeder or a pet store, perhaps you should consider adopting a pet! You’ll change not only your life but also theirs. Through adopting a pet, you will help a pet in need and make room in shelters for stray, lost, or abused pets, ensuring they also get a chance to join a loving home. The reasons to adopt a pet go on!
